The EarthX media partnership with Entercom Communications aligns with Entercom’s nationwide campaign “Just One Thing Sustainability” in cities throughout the United States. Entercom and CEO David Field is coordinating river and park clean-ups in Chicago, Baltimore, and Charlotte. They are organizing paper and electronics recycling efforts in Portland, St.Louis, and here locally in Dallas.
Entercom also has created a ‘Butterfly Garden’ in Milwaukee and has opened a second-hand prom dress outlet in Detroit. This campaign aligns with EarthX’s mission to spread environmental awareness and support sustainable practices at a national scale. Entercom has relied on EarthX to promote their establishment of an Urban Community Garden near First Presbyterian Dallas Hospital where they are cultivating fresh food for local areas that otherwise lack access to fresh produce.
In addition, the communications firm hosted a local engagement in July with The EarthX Texas Legislative Review Panel where where green leaders from the State of Texas were able to discuss the degree of progress on environmental issues during the 2019 legislative session in Austin.
“Entercom has a long-standing commitment to sustainability and helping the environment,” said David Field, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Entercom. “Our 1Thing program has been a cornerstone of our work to be socially responsible corporate citizens and to make the world a better place.”
