Apply for the 2017 Earth Day Texas EARTHxPitch

EARTHxPitch, originally known as EarthTank, is back by popular demand and will feature three new divisions: Veterans, Academic and Civic.

DALLAS (March 30, 2017) – Earth Day Texas (EDTx) is seeking applications from veterans, primary and secondary school students, civic organizations and non-profits for EARTHxPitch. This competition awards cash prizes in recognition of important projects and efforts towards conservation, sustainability and environmental education. Submissions are now open! Deadline for applicants is Monday, April 10 and can be submitted via e-mail at

EARTHxPitch is categorized into four main divisions:

  • Veterans Division: Projects and initiatives that support a positive environmental impact in the community while providing veterans an opportunity to pursue their new mission with passion.
  • Academic Division: Primary and secondary accredited schools and 501(c)(3) education organizations establishing important projects and campus efforts towards conservation, sustainability and environmental education.
  • Civic Division: Cities that have made an active commitment to improving pollinator health and habitat in their community. Cities that exhibit and have signed The National Wildlife Federation’s Mayors’ Monarch Pledge are invited to submit a proposal.
  • Non-Profit Division: Charitable 501(c)(3) organizations that have a positive environmental impact in the community in one or more of the following areas: outdoor learning, healthy lifestyles, conservation and community cleanup and environmental education.

Only registered exhibitors for EDTx 2017 may submit a proposal for consideration.
