About Planet911 Youth Reports

Youth across the world answer the emergency 911 call from planet Earth to protect their own futures. In this 30-minute program, Planet911 reporters, anchors, and moderators explore voting for a sustainable future, host town hall dialogues on the climate crisis with candidates and elected officials.

In additional segments, Planet911 reporters dissect the UN Sustainable Development Goals, celebrate the accomplishments of young planet heroes, environmental artists, inventors, filmmakers and explore moments of natural beauty.  Planet 911 Youth Reports also share virtual sustainability challenges for kids and teens.

Their common goal? To illuminate the clear and present dangers facing our planet and how we can work together to solve them.

Participation open to youth ages 10-24.

There are four ways to participate:

Be a Moderator

For those who have always wanted to be reporters or moderate interviews, take part in a town hall on tv, or test out your journalism skills, apply to be an EarthxYouth Planet911 Reporter. Students age 10-24 are eligible.
