Aislinn Clark is a 13-year-old member of the founding chapter of Heirs To Our Oceans (H2OO) who is deeply concerned about the impacts our species is having on our oceans and our planet. She recognizes that we must stop current levels of consumption, pollution, and unsustainable practices, so Aislinn?s work in H2OO focuses on influencing legislation and policies that will bring about widespread changes now, not later.

She is also dedicated to H2OO?s core principals of making sure that all voices are included in conversations about the future, so she is committed to helping educate and inspire youth worldwide about these problems and how young people can be part of the solution.

In addition to work she is currently doing to help craft a California state law limiting the impact of chemical fertilizer runoff on marine protected areas, Aislinn would like her efforts with H2OO to grow the organization?s global youth movement, contribute to ending marine mammal captivity for entertainment purposes, facilitate a nationwide ban on single-use plastic bags and utensils, put an end to off-shore oil and gas drilling, and encourage the enactment of a carbon fee and dividend system to curb the effects of climate change.
