International Fund for Animal Welfare
Beth Allgood is the US Country Director at the International Fund for Animal Welfare. She brings over 20 years of experience in the fields of conservation and international development to her role. At IFAW she leads the planning and implementation of US policy, campaigns, and projects and she guides IFAW’s work with the US government and international organizations in the US to advance IFAW’s global priorities.
Beth is most excited and proud of her innovative work into the link between animals and human happiness and wellbeing. She is dedicated to advocating for change on the national and international policy level, holistic community engagement with wildlife that benefits wildlife and people, and innovative practices that link wildlife and human wellbeing in all sectors of society.
Prior to IFAW, Beth held various roles at the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, The Peace Corps, and National Wildlife Federation.
