Prior to taking over as Executive Director of the Weeden Foundation 16 years ago, Don Weeden had a nearly 25-year career in the international population field, serving in various field and management positions for Columbia University, International Planned Parenthood Federation, and other non-governmental organizations. Don has a Masters in Population Planning (Public Health) from the University of Michigan.

The Weeden Foundation supports a wide range of programs that aim to preserve biodiversity, nationally and internationally, and it’s its land acquisition efforts have helped to preserve over 6 million acres worldwide.
