James Brundige specializes in producing educational films that focus on environmental issues. From the Amazon jungle to Mount Everest, from American suburbs to the South Pole, James and his company First Light Films have told stories that help people understand the wonders of the Earth and how they can be preserved. James has shot and edited for PBS, BBC, NBC, ABC, TNT, HBO, ESPN, CBS, Discovery, and National Geographic Television. Awards include Emmy, Impact Film Gold Award, MountainFilm Grand Prize, and best environmental film at New York Film and TV awards.
James in now curating the Nature Needs Half Channel – in support of a global movement to protect and connect the large ecoregions, land and water, that sustain all life on earth. He is working with a group of dedicated conservationists to promote a new relationship between humans and nature.
