Jeremy Harrell is the Managing Director, Policy at ClearPath, a research and advocacy organization focused on free-market ideas that promote innovation and accelerate clean energy deployment.
He spearheads the organization’s public policy initiatives, including educating policymakers on investing wisely in energy innovation, streamlining federal regulatory policies that needless restrict clean energy development and other concepts that lead to a cleaner, more reliable, and more affordable electricity sector.
Prior to joining ClearPath, he advised Congressional Republicans on energy, environmental, technology, national security, transportation, and tax policies for nearly a decade. Most recently, he served as a Senior Policy Advisor to Nevada Senator Dean Heller, where he was instrumental in the 2015 extension of clean energy incentives, the enactment of automotive innovation policies in the most recent highway bill, and the reform to regulations that impede domestic resource deployment.
He got his start in D.C. serving as a policy and communications advisor to senior member of the House Armed Services Committee Congressman Michael Turner (OH10).
He received his B.A. in Political Science and History from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and is a M.B.A. Candidate at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
