Steve Ramirez

Steve Ramirez is an outdoor and conservation author who lives and writes in the Texas Hill Country. His first book, Casting Forward is being published by Lyons Press with a release date of September 1st, 2020. I it available for pre-order now via Amazon.com. His work has been seen in various journals including, Trout Magazine, The Flyfish Journal, American Angler, Tail Magazine, Texas Sporting Journal, Texas Trophy Hunters, Under Wild Skies Magazine, and many more. Steve wrote an outdoor and nature column for Explore Magazine for three years.  His short-fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction has been published in Cutthroat: journal of the arts, The Houston Literary Review, Pecan Grove Review and focuses on the tragedy of war, the power of love, and the value of respecting and protecting each other, and the Earth.
