Founder & President
Todd Tanner is the founder and president of Conservation Hawks, a nonprofit organization that engages America’s 40 million anglers & hunters on climate change. He is also a passionate sportsman, a longtime outdoor writer, a former fly fishing and big game guide, and the founder of the School of Trout.
Todd’s outdoor and conservation writing has appeared in a wide variety of national media, including Field & Stream, Sporting Classics, Fly Fisherman, Shooting Sportsman, American Angler, Men’s Journal, Forbes and the NY Times, while his short Conservation Hawks films Cold Waters, Chrome, Convergence and In The Heart Of The Rockies have helped educate sportsmen all over the world on the threat from human-caused climate change. Todd and his family live near Montana’s Glacier National Park.
