EarthxYouth pairs Cub Reporters, students ages 10-22, with professional video teams. Each team helps educate youth about the basics of storytelling and video production. Youth who are interested in interviewing, reporting, filming with a camera or working as a production assistant will receive a hands-on experience that encourages their passion to make an impact.
To participate, youth under 18 must have a signed parental waiver on file if not participating during a field trip. The experience will take approximately 45 minutes.
The finished news-style promos will be about 1-minute and can be used by exhibitors to promote themselves on social media. Check out some of last year’s videos here!

EarthX offers students a wonderful opportunity to exhibit their solutions and innovations to environmental problems as well as interact with other like-minded community members during the Expo. While there, they can also explore green careers and college programs as they help to create awareness for sustainability and conservation of our planet’s resources.
Attention Parents, Teachers and School Administrators:
Bring your class or the entire school for a field trip to EXPO Earthx2021. It is a learning environment that will get them excited about protecting the earth and teach them hundreds of ways they can make it a part of their lives.
Teachers, here’s an opportunity to get yourself and your students engaged and involved in Earthx2021 and earn volunteer and community service hours while learning about the latest eco-‐friendly initiatives, discoveries, research, innovations, policies, and practices reshaping our world.
This year EarthX expects to break all previous attendance records and we need volunteers to work with programs and activities appealing to a wide range of knowledge levels and interests – from providing logistics support at events to enlightening children on how best to make a positive difference in the world.
