Tell your story, share your ideas, compete for cash prizes and Tell us what we should be doing to take better care of the earth related to the Climate Crisis by creating a short film to answer one of the questions listed below.
Option 1:
How can we protect our natural resources and the rights of the world’s citizens to live equitably?
Option 2:
How do we build a more environmentally just world?
To answer either question, identify what needs fixing and show us how you or someone you know is making or can make a positive impact. Then reveal how others can follow your lead.
An example is Paper for Water. Started by Isabelle and Katherine Kei Adams when they were 7 and 9 years old. These sisters saw a need and today at 14 and 16 they have created over 200 water projects in over 20 countries.
Submitting your film is easier than ever below.All required fields must be filled in. Films over 50 seconds will be rejected. You will be required to upload a .mov or MP4.
If you need a broader environmental film topic or your subject can’t be captured in under 50 seconds, EarthxFilm has added a Student Film Category to our annual Film Festival. For complete rules and to enter go to our EarthxFilm Festival. (Entering your film in the EarthxFilm festival does not make it eligible for the Planet911 Youth Film Challenge or the corresponding prizes or awards.)
