FREE Family Friendly Event

This event is a citywide celebration of the many green groups and initiatives in Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Central Library will host city programs and partnerships, children’s recycling and composting activities, a FWISD art show about plants and their importance in our lives, the 13th annual Lone Star Film Festival, and more:

– All indoors! – All warm! – FREE WIFI! – FREE parking! – Beautiful Venue!

12:00pm – 4:00pm Coloring, sorting, recycling and composting activities (guardian supervision required)

    Fort Worth area Goodwill stores will be giving away reusable bags while supplies – check your store for more details!

  2. November 11 – 15
    Recycle Right, a free hands-on program at the Riverside and Northside Libraries on Nov 11 at 6:30 p.m. and at Diamond Hill, Seminary South, and Northwest Library on Nov 12 at 6:30 p.m. Contact your library for more info.

  3. November 16, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
    The Fort Worth Community Arts Center will be collecting reuse items for an upcoming Fort Worth Public Art project.
Volunteers Still Needed!

Volunteers are still needed for this all indoors event in the beautiful Fort Worth Central library – all indoors! – all warm! – FREE WIFI! – FREE parking! – bring the family to volunteer together! Please email Brittany.rosenberg@fortworthtexas.gov with your available times to sign up!
