Description: EarthX has announced it has launched a new Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, EarthX <EIR>, providing the world’s most talented thinkers the opportunity to incubate their ideas and spur innovation for environmental benefit. Socialwyze Founder Cody Merrill and EarthxCaptial Matt Myers discuss the startup process of Socialwyze.
Immediately following, Merrill and Richard Miles, founder of Miles of Freedom, discuss the first Socialwyze pilot in South Dallas where formerly incarcerated individuals are distributing food and toiletries to families in need.
Socialwyze is a mobile application that helps governments and donors pay unemployed people to perform public benefit work to help them maintain housing and transition back into employment.
Miles of Freedom is an organization that equips, empowers, and employs individuals returning home from prison providing support and assistance for families and communities impacted by Incarceration.
