Summit Description: ULTRAMARINE is an annual summit hosted on Richard Branson’s Necker Island that aims to inspire greater action and solutions to ensure a healthy, vibrant and resilient ocean.
This year’s virtual event is open to the public and will be bringing together scientists, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and thought-leaders including Philippe and Ashlan Cousteau, Dr. Sylvia Earle, Dr. Cliff Kapono, Jeffrey LeBlanc and Stiv Wilson discussing how we can take action and implement solutions to ensure a healthy, vibrant and resilient ocean.
Ultramarine aims to inspire people who are successful doers to bring their skills to ocean conservation, and to bring ocean conservation into their fields. They seek to broaden the set of capable people contributing to the cause of ocean conservation. We believe inspiration works best when a community develops meaningful bonds, which happens when people are both learning and having fun sharing new experiences. They bring together luminaries from all around the world.
