The EAT-Lancet Commission, which is made up of 37 leading scientists from around the world, wants to get everyone to eat using the Planetary Health Diet. This diet mostly consists of plant-based foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and legumes, with meat, fish, and dairy in significantly smaller amounts.
The reason? To pave the way for a sustainable food system that’s not only healthy for humans, but also for the planet.
