EarthX recognizes more than 200 global leaders whose collaboration is helping make healthy indoor air a global priority.

EarthX has presented its Visionary Leadership Award to the members of the Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air, recognizing more than 200 leaders from over 40 countries for their collective work to advance healthy indoor air around the world.

The award was presented by EarthX CEO William Bridge during the International WELL Building Institute’s (IWBI) third annual Healthy Building Policy Summit.

The Global Commission brings together leaders and experts spanning public health, medicine, science, academia, policy, finance, civil society, building science, real estate and industry. Launched at the United Nations during Climate Week in September 2025, the Commission spent the following year developing a shared roadmap for making healthy indoor air the norm—not the exception—in buildings everywhere.

A Global Framework for Action

The Commission launched its Global Framework for Action during Climate Week in New York on September 22, 2026.

The framework outlines 40 strategic priority areas and nearly 180 recommendations organized around nine interconnected levers of market transformation, including public awareness, research and innovation, policy, education, market incentives, finance, partnerships, standards and implementation.

Designed for governments, businesses, financial institutions, researchers, building professionals, civil society and communities, the framework aims to help organizations identify opportunities for action while strengthening collaboration across sectors.

For EarthX, the recognition reflects the power of bringing people and organizations together around shared challenges.

“At EarthX, we believe the true measure of a convening is not simply who was in the room, but what becomes possible because those people came together.”

— William Bridge, CEO, EarthX

The Commission’s work demonstrates how cross-sector collaboration can turn shared priorities into coordinated action. By bringing together expertise from across disciplines and geographies, the Global Commission has created a framework intended to help accelerate progress toward healthier indoor environments worldwide.

Recognizing Collective Leadership

The Visionary Leadership Award was presented to the Commission as a collective achievement rather than to an individual. Commissioners attending the Healthy Building Policy Summit were invited to the stage to be recognized for their contributions.

The Global Commission’s work aligns with EarthX’s commitment to connecting leaders, building networks and advancing solutions through collaboration across institutional, geographic and disciplinary boundaries.
