For over 120 years, the National Audubon Society has been a leading force in bird conservation across the Americas. With a mission to “bend the bird curve,” Audubon is committed to halting and ultimately reversing the decline of bird populations through habitat preservation, scientific research, policy advocacy, and community engagement.
Since its incorporation in 1905, Audubon has grown into one of the oldest and most effective bird conservation organizations in the Western Hemisphere. Today, it employs more than 800 staff members and collaborates with numerous partner organizations across 11 countries. Additionally, an extensive network of community and campus chapters work tirelessly at the local level to protect birds and their natural habitats.
By combining decades of experience with innovative conservation strategies, Audubon Texas plays a vital role in safeguarding natural resources that benefit both birds and people alike. To learn more about their impactful work and how you can get involved, visit www.audubon.org.
