Business & Innovation Pavilion

The Business & Innovation Pavilion will convene business leaders from all industry sectors, students & researchers from leading academic institutions and emerging & established innovators into a single forum. Each group will share thought-provoking ideas, proven profitable & impactful initiatives, and innovative technologies, products & services that address business related sustainability and environmental issues.

Businesses will share their best practices & initiatives focused on sustainability and show how they are leading the way in balancing environmental stewardship with economic success. Participation in EarthX’s Business-to-Business showcase will not only drive peer-to-peer learning but also help educate the general public and highlight the increasingly important role business and industry play in integrating sustainability in everyday commerce and business operations.

Participating businesses will develop a visual presentation featuring a past conservation/sustainability initiative, with the following:

• Reduced usage of energy, water, waste, or other environmental footprint with no negative economic impact on business performance
• Utilized outside-of-the-box thinking
• Pursuit of success at all levels
• Easily replicated by other organizations
• Outcome and methods worthy of sharing with other businesses and the general public

EarthX will convene businesses and students for networking, mentoring, recruiting:

• Business competitors can request to be assigned to student competitors as mentors
• Students may collaborate with company professionals to learn about industry, relevant real-world resource challenges and stewardship solutions.
• Company professionals will work with students to help refine and finalize students presentations.
• Students will present at EarthX 2023 Sustainable Business Challenge.
• Experts from companies in the EarthX 2023 Sustainable Business Challenge serve as Judges for CCC.

EarthX’s annual E-Capital Summit is an invitation-only, sustainability-focused investment and business innovation summit that has convened, inspired, and catalyzed action from thousands of investors, innovators, industry leaders, dealmakers, and innovation ecosystem leaders (including leading researchers, labs, and incubators & accelerators) tackling some of the world’s greatest investment and business opportunities in sustainability, resilience, conservation, clean technology, and climate technology.
