EarthX Film Festival is pleased to announce its highly anticipated event, “A Party for the Planet,” featuring Abraham Alexander. This special occasion will be held at Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theater in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 8, 2023. The evening will comprise a multi-faceted program that merges environmental awareness with artistic and musical expression.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening to the public. At 7:00 p.m., an acoustic performance by Abraham Alexander will initiate the event’s proceedings, followed by the following film screenings:

  • Batsies, a 15-minute documentary focusing on the work of researchers Dr. Sara Weaver and Dr. Sarah Fritts, who aim to protect the Texas bat population.
  • 4DWN, a 17-minute EarthX Film production that explores a Dallas-based community hub at the intersection of skate culture and regenerative farming.
  • The Blackcountry Journal, a nine-minute film featuring the contemplative journey of a skier through art, jazz, and Black culture.

A panel discussion will follow, moderated by EarthX Film’s Laura Shaunette, with contributors from the screened films. The night will culminate in a second performance by Abraham Alexander.
